HENNA FAQ

How long does henna last?

Your design lasts anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks. Placement on the body and following the aftercare steps make the biggest difference.

Why is my henna bright orange at first?

That is completely normal. When the paste is first removed the design looks bright pumpkin-orange, then darkens significantly over the next 24 to 48 hours.

How long should I keep the henna paste on?

Leave it on for at least 4 to 6 hours. Overnight gives the best stain. Remove it by scraping with your fingers or a natural oil, not water.

What is the difference between natural henna, hengua and jagua?

Natural henna stains orange-brown to dark mahogany. Hengua is a blend of henna and jagua that stains dark brown to near-black. Jagua is made from fruit juice and leaves a blue-black stain that looks like real ink.

Is henna safe for everyone?

No. Natural henna, hengua and jagua can trigger severe hemolytic anemia in people with G6PD deficiency. If you have G6PD deficiency, please do not book or use any of these products.

Do you travel to my venue?

I’m based in Sungai Buloh, Selangor. Message me your venue and date on WhatsApp and I’ll confirm whether I can come to you.

How far ahead should I book?

Dates fill up fast in wedding season, so message me as early as you can once your date is set.
